Press Release Nov 03, 2023 FPT Software and KDDI Vietnam Sign Partnership to Promote DX to Japan Companies in Vietnam

On November 3rd, 2023, KDDI Vietnam Corporation, KDDI's overseas subsidiary, entered a Memorandum of Understanding on business partnership with FPT Software Co., Ltd (Hereinafter called "FPT Software", Headquarters: Vietnam, CEO: Pham Minh Tuan) to "enhance and strengthen business processes and in-house DX" for Japanese companies based in Vietnam with the target of accelerating DX within companies.

FPT Software is Vietnam's largest global IT service provider with a focus on software development.

To achieve DX in a company, it is essential to integrate, manage, and analyze internal data resources effectively to improve operational efficiency and optimize overall management.

In this agreement, KDDI Vietnam will collaborate in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) by utilizing the customer base owned by KDDI Vietnam and the system development capabilities and resources of FPT Software. In this way, we will support Japanese companies in Vietnam to strengthen their management data infrastructure.

KDDI Vietnam offers various business systems such as production, sales, inventory, and personnel distribution, as well as ERP systems such as Microsoft’s Dynamics365, SAP, and Odoo. By combining FPT Software’s resources and assets, the partnership will ensure smooth and fast implementation.

The two companies will continue to support the growth of Vietnam’s IT industry and the business activities of Japan companies in Southeast Asian countries and will strive to accelerate and promote DX.
